My name is Danielle Avery, I am Air Force veteran, a Nurse, a wife and mother of 3. I started cooking when I was 10 years old. I graduated high school at 16 and pursued my dream of cooking at Pennsylvania Culinary. I graduated with my Associate in Culinary Arts at 18. I then joined the Air Force shortly after. Never losing love for food and cooking. In 2016 I started selling dinner from my home, catering and that is when Ruth Helens was brought to life. Ruth Helen’s is my grandmother. In 2020 I decided I wanted to further my dreams and purchase a food truck. We did so and it is history from there. We opened up 7/31/21 our first event. We specialize in smoked bbq but are able to do a variety of things. We enjoy the art of smoking meats. The taste is something different and special.
