A True Celebration of Wine from Across the World
This will be the biggest wine event that Cleveland has ever seen. Taste CLE and Driftwood Catering are putting together a full day of wine fun with events such as education classes, speciality tastings, grand tasting, vip and more. You can pick 1 or all of the options to go to. It’s all a-la-carte. You’ll get a chance to meet winemakers, national sales people, the ones that live and breath these wines. Many of which are sommeliers and are full of knowledge.
The most popular is the Grand Tasting which is 4 hours in the main ballroom where there will be over 100 wines being sampled. This also includes a pasta station and food stations that will be themed based on the various countries and their wines. You’ll get a souvenir glass as well.
There are classes available for before the grand tasting. Everything from Wine 101 to a high end Bordeaux tasting. And for the VIPs, you get in one hour early and get the chance to taste premium wines that are rare and score big. You’ll also get food to pair with these wines.

Over 100 wines for you to sample and learn from winemakers, national sales managers, sommeliers and the true professionals that make wine their lives. Food is included as well and there will be multiple food stations themed by country so you can pair your wines with the food from that area. Over the 4 hour grand tasting, you’ll get to try wines from all around the world. The education you’ll get from this tasting is priceless.
FOOD INCLUDED IN GRAND TASTING
There will be multiple buffet style food stations where you can go with your food ticket and our staff will serve you. This helps ensure that all guests get fed and equally. You’ll have choices that include pasta, appetizers and more.

A BORDEAUX EXPERIENCE – $125 per person

This is a sit down tasting with 8 different wines and food. Your wines and food will be brought to you at your table. Our tables each sit 6 people so if you’d like to reserve a table for your group, please buy your tickets and reach out to us. Tasting hosted by Mr. Dan Greathouse who is one of the best in the country.

VIP TASTING EXPERIENCE – $125 per person

This ticket includes your grand tasting ticket and VIP access. In the VIP area, you’ll have access to 12 various wines and you’ll be able to sample each one with your VIP Passport. You will also have a buffet style dinner set up where our staff will mark off your passport and serve you dinner. Tables will be available and if you have a group, we can put you all together. This room will stay open the entire time and you are welcome to relax back there and buy VIP bottles to open and share.

WINE 101 – A class for the wine drinker that really wants to learn about taste, smell and how to properly speak about wines, where they come from and basic pairings. There will be 5 wines included in the sampling and the class will be lead by a certified wine educator.

THE WINES OF OREGON – Special Guest Winemaker from Oregon will take you on a wine trip and showcase all the different types of wines from Oregon. You’ll learn about Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and all the different styles of Pinot Noir.
